I wanted to thank you for the face painting class on Tuesday. My objective for attending class was to learn new ways on how to run my business. I remember reading somewhere that you could be the most artistic and creative face painter,but a knowledge of how to run a business was just as important.
I think you have a great balance of both, and I admire your business sense!

I have been painting professionally for two years and had never really taken a beginners class so I thought, why not try to refresh skills and maybe even remember something I'd forgotten along the way.
Never did I think that I'd actually 'learn' anything new!! While all the information on marketing, hygiene, and product usage was great and very helpful I was dumb struck when we pulled out the page titled 'Essential Lines'. Huh? What the heck is an essential line and why had I never heard of it??
So if you know anything about me you know that I don't like painting full faced butterflies, they escape me and even scare me!! After doing this exercise I can now, with extreme confidence, do a full faced butterfly that looks beautiful and flows and compliments the face. This works for little faces and adult faces.
This technique is also used to paint anything on the face. By following the basic lines you can paint a dragon, super hero, fairy princess or anything else to compliment and fit the client's face. That in and of it's self was worth taking the class! So you can learn new techniques and helpful tips and tricks whether you just started to paint or have been paint for several years. - encourage every one to go back to the basics. Take one of Lilly's classes to refresh your skills, who knows what you will get out of it. Thanks Lilly!!

My daughter (Olivia Law) was reluctant to go to your class. Her future goal is to be a makeup artist and I thought your class would be a good introduction. She ended up loving the class and wants to go again.
